Before I report on our last game, Bob and Ian attended Fred Burrell's Funeral last Friday. It was extremely well attended by Family, Friends, Water Ski Club Members and his Golfing Buddies. As always you learn a great deal about someone from their Eulogy. RIP Fred.

Now to last Tuesday ~ A very hot day and for some a very hard day at the Office, George and Barrie in particular having a very hard time. To our Mid Range Handicappers they also found it hard going which left the field open to allow Bill, Rick and Martyn to sweep the board, except for the Nearest the Pin which gave Roger some consolation and Ian was the only other person to hit the green.

This is the 2nd game that Bill has won this season and their is no doubt his known play and results show the need to revise his Handicap to 11. Well played Bill!

The Eclectic is also hotting up with George, 76, Bill 77 and Rick, 79. The Handicap Committee may need to watch Rick who came 3rd on Tuesday.

Our next game is scheduled for Hagley on 18th July, one week later than normal, due to the WMGS AGM day at Kings Norton. Martyn will be sending our details in due course and please, everyone make an effort as we are now having trouble booking as a Society with only 6 players.

We all wish Keith a speedy recovery from his recent replacement knee operation and by the time I write the next report on Hagley the 6 Members of the WHELKS will have been on this years Tour to Devon and it will be interesting to see what results come back from there.
